Time for Detox Tea

So I had planned to write a pre-New Year’s Eve post this week sharing four or five of my favorite party cocktails (of course you know chocolate martinis were at the top of the list) but, as it turns out, this last month of holiday eating and drinking has put me in the mood for something else entirely. I have reached the end of my holiday line. It’s time for Detox Tea.

You only need five ingredients: fresh rosemary, sliced lemon, peeled ginger, organic honey, and boiling water.

Put a couple of nice sized chunks of ginger in the bottom of a mug. Add a sprig of clean, fresh rosemary and a thick slice of lemon. Top with a heaping teaspoon of organic honey, and pour boiling water over everything.

Stir to dissolve the honey and let the tea steep for a few minutes. Feel better. Ahhhh.
